Division of Student Affairs Welcomes New Webmaster

Colorado State University’s Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce new team member Shaun Geisert. Geisert joined the division in March as Webmaster.

“We’re so fortunate to have Shaun on our team”, says Kris Folsom, Division Marketing Director. “In less than a year he’s already made a tremendous impact on our ability to communicate with our constituents about the programs and services we offer.”

Geisert graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE in 2003 with a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics and a minor in German. Before joining the staff at CSU, Geisert founded his own web consulting and design company, “Add-a-Site Web Design.” He also worked as a computer technician and consultant at local computer repair business, All Brands Computer Service.

As Webmaster for the CSU Division of Student Affairs, Geisert’s primary duties are site design for important CSU programs such as Ram Welcome, the Center for Educational Access and Outreach, and the online portal for Ram parents and families. Geisert also implements web development and maintenance projects for the Office of the Vice President, advocacy offices, and others within the division.

“Working in a university setting has been an interest of mine ever since graduating from college. I’ve met many friendly, supportive colleagues and clients over the past few months, and that’s made my experience here that much more enjoyable.”

In his spare time, Geisert enjoys playing bass guitar for the Vineyard church, camping, traveling, reading, and attempting to keep up his German.
