Parents Fund

If you are interested in obtaining program funding for an event within the Division of Student Affairs, please follow the steps below:

  1. Download the Parents Fund request document.
  2. Complete the request document and create a complete budget projection for the event.  A sample projected budget can be found here.  
  3. E-mail Nora Oakson the completed request document and projected budget.
  4. The Parents Fund Committee will review your request and respond within 2 weeks.
  5. After the completion of the program or event, please contact Ashley Vigil to set up a meeting to discuss reimbursement.  Please be prepared to bring:
  • All reciepts from the event to be reimbursed,
  • A completed evaluation form for the program or event, and
  • A final expense report for the program or event.  A sample final expense report can be found here.

Please note the following funding criteria:

  • To create or enhance the Division of Student Affairs programs that lead to the academic and personal success of Colorado State University students.
  • To provide financial assistance to the Division of Student Affairs programs that expands the sense of community at Colorado State University, where all students feel welcome and important.
  • To support University-wide programs and projects outside of the classroom.
  • To enrich educational opportunities for Colorado State University students.
